2017 Great American Cross Country Festival — Coach Entry Guide

Please remember that your entry is not complete until you reach the success step.

  1. Log in to Head Count using the link at the top right corner of the site.
  2. Go to the meet's start page on Head Count, http://www.headcountreg.com/meet/1455, and click the "Start an Entry" button at the bottom.
  3. Entry Type and Affiliation

  4. Select "I am a coach or team leader" for your entry type
  5. Select who you are representing — your school (the one set in your profile), a club or team, or if you are not representing anyone select unattached.
  6. Press the "Continue" button.
  7. Roster

  8. If you have previously entered athletes into Head Count, review them to ensure their information is up-to-date. Do this by clicking the pencil icon next to their name.
  9. If you have any athletes you need to add to your roster click the "Add a new athlete" link.
  10. Enter the athlete's name, gender, and USATF number if they have one (that last one is optional). Note that for 2017 Great American Cross Country Festival the graduation year field have been set as required information.
  11. Click the "Add" button at the bottom of the page.
  12. Repeat steps 7 - 9 for all of the athletes you need add to your roster.
  13. When all your roster is complete click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.
  14. Event Entry

  15. Click the plus sign next to the event you would like to enter.
  16. Select either the individual or group of individuals (for a team) you'd like to enter into this event.
  17. If prompted for a performance only the entry mark is required, however the more details the better. Usually any seeded event will need extra details to ensure they are seeded fairly.
  18. Click the "Add" button at the bottom of the page.
  19. Repeat steps 12 - 15 for all of the entries you are making. You'll see the entries you've made appear at the top of the page for confirmation; if you need to change any entry you can click the pencil icon next to it.
  20. Once you have all your entries set click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.
  21. Waivers

  22. Agree to the waivers by checking the boxes.
  23. If you'd like to share your contact information with select partners/sponsors of 2017 Great American Cross Country Festival check the last box. This is optional.
  24. Click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.
  25. Payment

  26. Review your entry fees and information to ensure it is all correct.
  27. Enter all of your credit card information.
  28. Click the "Pay and Finish" button at the bottom of the page.
  29. Success

  30. You're done! You may print the success page if you'd like a receipt for your records, and a confirmtion of your entry will also be emailed to you.
